an amazing racer for 1917. built for famous race car driver barney oldfield. 289cu.in. 4cyl. engine with ohc and desmodromic valve operation. barney won many races in this machine which was capable of speeds of over 100mph. the body was designed more for safety than streamlining after barney's friend bob burman was killed at the wheel of his open car in 1916.
