for armoured ship Thursday this week we have five armoured cruisers. first is the USS Brooklyn the second of the USN's armoured cruisers, USS New York was the first. second is the Dutch armoured cruiser HrMs Holland. third we have HMS Sutlej a Cressy Class armoured cruiser from the Royal Navy. fourth is USS North Carolina one of a later class of large armoured cruisers built for the USN. and last is French armoured cruiser Jules-Ferry. French ships of this era always looked quite different than any built for other navies.
