here is one of the most copied motorcycles. the DKW RT125 from the 1930's. after Germany's loss of WW2, whatever the Allies wanted, they took for reparations. the design of the DKW and it's engine is one of the things they took. the British made the BSA Bantam. the USA made the Harley Hummer. the Russians made the MMZ M1A Moskva. and it was also made in East Germany and even the Japanese{though being the allies of Germany in WW2}made a copy, the Yamaha YA-1. we start at the top with the original the DKW RT125. next is the BSA Bantam and third the Harley Hummer. fourth is the Russian M1A Moskva and last the Japanese Yamaha YA-1.
