some things that pierce armour

our first picture is of an ancient Roman ballista bolt. i imagine these would go through any number of barbarians. next is a picture of a medieval war hammer designed to break up and pierce plate armour. third we have an armour piercing naval round. fourth is a picture of .50 caliber armour piercing machine gun rounds and finally a 120mm anti-tank round.

  1. More correctly, the MK 211 Raufoss round, shown above in cross section, is the projectile on the 50 Caliber shells you show. The Raufoss rounds usually have green and white paint on the tip.
