worth the investment (about $250 if you are already in turkey). you showed some meerschaum pipes (white stone only found off the coast of turkey). that is what i have. as you smoke them, they change color. there is a 4-6 month period where they are honey-colored and in different shades. it's really beautiful and makes how you smoke appear, if that makes sense. great to see a pipe post. thanks, man.
i used to have a couple of the meerschaum pipes and they did indeed get a very mellow colour after awhile. i now have asthma so cannot smoke but still like to look at nice pipes and smell the good tobaccos. the head goon here at the garage is a pipe smoker.
oh man. asthma. can i make a pun and say "that sucks?"
i do not know what i would do if i couldn't smoke my pipe any longer. it's become such a part of me after over five years and gives me those moments to stop. relax. think a bit and meditate before you tell that guy to fuck off in an email...
The Go Away Garage is a real garage in Wichita Kansas. Mitch Willis started out building custom hot rods on West Street and now builds motorcycles at the joint on Commerce St., where the garage has been for more than a dozen years. When Willis needed privacy to devote to his projects, he’d put up a 4-foot-by-8-foot sign that said “Go Away." The name stuck. Thus the Go Away Garage.
